Welcome to The Literacy Now Foundation – a nonprofit organization focused on family literacy at all ages and at every reading level. Our vision is to put good reading material in the hands of individuals that may be less fortunate from all walks of life in hopes of inspiring a love of reading while increasing proficiency, accuracy, knowledge and comprehension.
OUR MISSION
We aspire to see a day where every new and expecting mother leaves her well-woman checkup visit with a new book in her hands; where every child in a public school setting has access to a wealth of books and reading material to keep him occupied during after-school programs; and where every infant is born into this world with books waiting for her discovery.
A life filled with the love of education and literacy is one with a bright and hopeful future – and this is what we seek to provide through our educational and literacy programs and services.

OUR COMMITMENT
We are deeply committed to our passion to inspire a love of education. While our primary objective is to accomplish this through providing access to books, we don’t stop there when it comes to providing the stepping stones to success.
Adults and those with learning disabilities can come to us to engage in any of our educational and enrichment programs to find the learning environment they need to build a better future.
With courses ranging from basic math and reading and writing skills to GED preparation, digital literacy and college preparation. We provide adults with the tools, resources and knowledge needed to build a better life and inspire a love of reading in themselves and their children for years to come.
