Building brighter futures with well-crafted programs
We aspire to see a day where every new and expecting mother leaves her well-woman checkup visit with a new book in her hands; where every child in a public-school setting has access to a wealth of books and reading material to keep him occupied during after-school programs; and where every infant is born into this world with books waiting to discover.
Basic education
Through innovative educational methods, we provide basic educational courses to help lay foundational skill sets at the fundamental level. Our basic education program includes leveled coursework ranging from reading and writing to arithmetic’s to GED preparation coursework. We employ the use of fast-track programming to help our students reach their goals at their own pace, and provide a digital learning environment where students can seek one-to-one support to supplement their classroom learning experience where needed.
Math education
Our math program serves multiple purposes provided on the practitioner-scholar approach. Using an innovative research-to-practice design, our goal is to provide highly qualified educational professionals to respond to complex math problems that arise in educational atmospheres. In this way we seek to develop thoughtful practitioners who are able to actively reflect on the issues that arise in math environments and create and apply innovative teaching approaches in math fields.
Digital literacy
In order to find success in our highly modernized society, digital literacy is no longer truly optional to today’s adult population. For this reason, we seek to provide robust digital literacy coursework designed to empower adults to become active participants in a highly digitized world. Digital literacy lends our students the confidence they need to navigate technology and to use it as the tool it is that provides a degree of self-sufficiency in multiple contexts. Adult students will learn such valuable skills as how to fill out a job application online, how to navigate and effectively use a Smartphone or tablet device, how to access and use email, how to effectively use word processing software, and much more.
